When regular packaging just won't do we also offer custom crating. Crating can be an option for items that can't be packaged within corrugated cartons safely. We offer our customers an option to crate their items for shipment instead of regular packaging.
We try to avoid crates as this can increase the costs for a shipment by a considerable amount, we usually only proceed with crate when the value dictates it or if the customer requests it. Items large an small can be crated safely, in some cases a crate is required to simply hold a heavy piece of equipment safe from movement.
Crates can be made on site or at our office, on site building does cost more as we have to take all the needed tools on site. In most cases we bring the item back to the office to be packaged first and then build the crate to fit.
